Saturday February 6th
Welcome to a new month and a new page! I had a good 😊 week. I went out for a walk with George, Alan and Jackie on Tuesday. On Thursday, dad rang first thing and we talked about our week and that it’s Alan’s birthday 🎊 today! To celebrate we all had a curry 🍛 take away. I had Rogan Josh which was very 👍.
On Saturday mum and dad picked me up for the weekend. It was a bit of a grubby day, but dad and I did go out for a walk while mum went to the supermarket. We walked up to Farley Common, but didn’t stay long because it was cold and started to rain 🌧 ☔️ . Dad took some photographs which you’ll see in a minute. When we got back we helped mum in with the shopping and she and I ordered Sam’s birthday 🎉 🎁 presents.
We got up on Sunday to a blanket of ❄️ snow and it is still snowing. We’ll Skype Sam and Lucy in a minute and tell them about Alan’s 🎉 party. Jamie ate too much chocolate cake, but that’s all I’m saying…!
Saturday February 13th
So much for Spring, it’s been freezing cold and ⛄️ snowing all week, so we didn’t get out and about apart from taking Velma home in the minibus on Friday. We did some craft with Sharon making 🐣 Easter cards and Valentines ♥️ cards.
On Saturday morning Jackie told us we were going to Meopham medical centre to have our Covid jabs, but I got worried about the needle and didn’t want to go. Edem phoned mum and dad and asked whether they could come and support me while I had my jab and then we could go back to theirs afterwards. In the end I had my jab and it didn't hurt at all, so there was really nothing to worry about. Mum and dad were pleased with me for being brave!
Back at mum and dad’s we had agreed to Skype Sam and Lucy that evening instead of Sunday morning as Sunday is Valentines’ and they want to relax with a lazy day. We had a good 😊 chat and I told them about my jab. They were pleased and it’s only Lucy left to go now… They have had a new cooker installed and were looking forward to using it that evening.
Tomorrow I will go back to Longfield for our Valentines supper and I’m having meatballs yum, yum!
Next weekend I’m back at mum and dad’s and hopefully it will have warmed up and we can go for a walk and take some pictures! We will also celebrate Sam's birthday with a virtual party on Skype -- yippee!
Saturday February 20th
After all that snow its starting to warm up! On Tuesday Gary, Alan, George and I went out for a walk with Sara. It was a bit cold still but nice to get out and about. Last Sunday we had our Valentine’s day party 🎈 🎊 . I shared 🍖 meatballs with George and had 🧀 cheesecake with Alan. We had 🥂 champagne and I got a bit tipsy! I bought Valentine’s day cards for boyfriend number 1 and boyfriend number 2, but neither of them got me one, tight a***e buggers!
On Wednesday we Skype’d Edenbridge and spoke to Ian and the guys.
On Thursday dad rang me and we talked about our week. Then I went to the bank with Jackie to draw some money 💸 out.
On Friday we all watched ‘Harry Potter Prisoners of Escoban’ which I enjoyed 😊.
On Saturday mum and dad arrived to pick me up for the weekend. We had a special lunch of omelettes, chips and 🥗 salad from the Rendezvous which was very nice. In the afternoon dad and I went out for a walk to the Round Pond where there were a pair of ducks swimming together - nearly time for making babies… I helped dad make 🍝 spaghetti Bolognese and we Skyped Sam and Lucy to celebrate Sam’s birthday 🎈 . Lucy had a cake with two candles 🎂 on it and we sang ‘Happy Birthday’. Mum and I wrapped 🎁 Sam’s presents which we’ll give to him in a couple of weeks, then mum and I 🎁 wrapped some super baby clothes for the latest family arrival, Seth and Aoibhinn’s baby 👶 Tdagh.

On Wednesday we skype’d Edenbridge but Ian had some sad 😭 news, as Jane Bellhouse has passed away. We were all sad to hear that. Good news as well though, as Lisa is pregnant 🤰and her baby 👶 is due on 23rd March, so quite soon!

We’re having moussaka for tea tonight and will Skype Sam & Lucy at 11.30 on Sunday!
Here are some pictures we took on our walk.

Easter Extra Blog… Sunday April 4th
Sam came over yesterday as planned, but he was on his own as Lucy had a really 🤢 nasty cold and was feeling rough. He brought dad’s birthday 🎈 🎁 presents, another Mother’s Day present 🎁 for mum - a book called 'Nala's World' by Dean Nicholson about a stray cat he befriended who travelled right round the world with him in a bicycle basket! Lucy’s mum had sent a Lindt Easter bunny for me and home-made Corona masks for me and mum - Marie, thank you and you are very clever!
We had a great 👍 take-away lunch - mum and I had fish 🐠 and chips, and Sam and dad had a chicken 🍗 kebab which was huge! Sam stayed all afternoon, then drove back - get well soon, Lucy!
We only needed cheese on toast for tea as we were fairly stuffed after such a big Easter 🐣 lunch!
