Welcome to page nine, starting Wednesday October 22nd

Things are a bit different now. Some of the lockdown rules have been relaxed and I went back to the house today. It felt a bit strange but the guys welcomed me back and were all quite excited 😊 😝 ! Jackie was ❤️ lovely and helped me un-pack my stuff. I had a good 😊 afternoon and we had spinach pasta 🍝 for tea which was yummy 😋 ! Well done Sharon and Gary!
On Thursday dad rang me first thing to see I was alright and to say “See you Saturday”. After breakfast Jamie, Louise and I went to Woodlands Park for a nature 🐑 ramble with Amanda and Angie and Stephen from Sec. I fell over ‘cos I tripped over a dodgy paving stone and I hurt my hands and knee. Kim helped me up and dusted me down. Then we did some colouring and had our picnic 🥗 🍴lunch.
On Friday morning Angie arrived to do some craft with me and Louise which was good 😊 fun. Jamie could have joined in, but he didn’t want to, 😩 miserable boy!
In the afternoon Sara was on and she was 😴 sleeping over, and it was good 😊 to see her.
I had a good night’s sleep 😴 then it was Saturday morning and mum and dad picked me up at 11.30. It was pouring with rain ☔️ but we drove to Coblands Garden Centre to meet Jill and Dave at the new ‘Cornflower Cafe’ they’ve recently opened. It’s really nice 👍 and I had a huge coronation chicken sandwich and a cappuccino. We had a really good chat sitting in this huge greenhouse surrounded by 🌱 plants, as it poured with rain outside.
We then said our goodbyes then dad drove mum and I to Sainsbury’s for the weekly shop. We bought salmon for our tea and steak for dad, and we bought some spicy 🥔 potato wedges for a change. We watched 2 episodes of ‘Our Yorkshire Farm’ then ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ which is mum’s favourite. We finished by watching ‘The Bourne Ultimatum’ but mum and I didn’t see the end ‘cos we were tired. 😑 😓 .

The week Mon 26th October to Sunday 1st November

My first full week back at the house! Pinch, punch it’s first day of the month today! On Tuesday I went out for a walk around Longfield with Alan, Louise and Rika. For tea we had chicken 🍗 Kiev which was 😋 yummy!
On Wednesday we did some craft and watched ‘Jumanji’ the original. Jackie and Jean did the supermarket shop and I helped with the unpacking.
Thursday was a horrible 🌧 rainy day, so we didn't go to Woodlands Park for the nature trail, but I had a good phone 📱 conversation with dad first thing. Then I watched ‘Caspar’ with Jamie which was fun. On Friday we had our hallowe'en 👻 party and Sharon helped me dress up as ‘harlequin’ from ‘Suicide Squad’. On Saturday mum and dad arrived in the pouring rain ☔️ to pick me up. When we got back to mum and dad’s they proudly showed me the new en-suite Patrick has finished! It looks really nice 👍. Mum and I went to the supermarket while dad put the bedroom back together again. When mum and I got back from the shops we Skyped Sam and Lucy and caught up on all their news. They have bought a 2nd 🚗 car for Lucy to drive to school so that she does not have to wait for Sam to pick her up.
For tea mum cooked moussaka and we watched ‘Strictly’ and ‘Sean Connery’s own words’ a documentary about him as an actor, as he has just died aged 90… It was a fitting tribute and well filmed.

The week of 2nd November - ‘Lockdown 2’ begins on Thursday and that’s where we’ll pick up the story… Dad 📱 phoned me in the morning. He used the staff phone as none of us heard the payphone ringing - do we need to call BT? I told him about my week including the walks and craft stuff. Louise, Alan and I are going for another walk today with Rika. On Friday, Sharon was in and Sara slept over. Sharon showed us how to make popcorn 🍿 so we had a film night with popcorn and fizzy 🍹 drinks and we watched ‘Sean of the Dead’ which I didn’t like because it made me 😞 sad. On Saturday mum and dad came to pick me up. We drove to Baverstock Farm to get some more chicken 🐔 food, then we went back to mum & dad’s for egg 🥚 on toast and beans. After lunch 🥗 mum and I went to Morrison’s for the weekly shop. Tonight we are having salmon and dad will have steak. Mum and I will watch ‘Strictly’ while dad cooks his steak. On Sunday morning we’ll Skype Sam and Lucy at 11.30… It’s feeling quite Autumnal now and the trees are amazing colours…

On Monday I watched ‘Sister Act’ with Whoopie Goldberg and it was very funny.
On Tuesday it was my 'home day' so I did my washing and cleaned my room. In the afternoon I watched ‘Ghostbusters’ with Jamie, Georgina, Louise, Alan and Gary. I’d forgotten how funny 😁 it was.
On Wednesday we did some drawing and my card-craft with Jackie and Jean.
Thursday morning dad rang me on the payphone. I was a bit 😢 tearful as I thought my period had started, but I cheered up before we said goodbye which was good. 😊
On Friday we watched ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s stone’ which I enjoyed, but we also watched ‘The Grudge’ which I didn’t like.
In the evening we had a take-away from the new Turkish restaurant called ‘Efsane’. I had a Marguerite pizza 🍕 which was yummy.
On Saturday, mum and dad came over to pick me up as usual. I had got a little anxious as I thought they were late, but I soon cheered up as we talked in the car 🚘. Mum and I will go to the supermarket this afternoon then I’ll help dad cook shepherds pie for tea.
Tomorrow we'll Skype Sam and Lucy at 11.30 and catch up with all the news!
Dad and I are starting a new project for wet and wintry days called 'The Seasons'. We're beginning with Autumn 🍁 because that's what it is...

On Friday we had a Schwarzenegger evening and watched ‘Jingle all the way’ and ‘Batman and Robin’ with a fish and chip supper which Michael and I cooked with Sara. It was bloomin’ lovely ❤️.
On Saturday mum and dad arrived to collect me for the weekend. After lunch - mum and I had  🥓 bacon, 🥚 eggs, 🍅 tomatoes and beans and dad had bacon and 🥑 avocado in French 🥖 bread. Mum cooked the fry-up on the new induction hob, which is very smart, but did mean buying all new saucepans…! In the afternoon mum and I went to Sainsbury’s and the bottle bank. We're having salmon for tea and dad will have steak. Tomorrow we’ll Skype Sam and Lucy at 11.30.

On Monday we all watched ‘Airplane I & II’ which were very funny 😁. For tea we had 🍝 pasta carbonara with 🥓 bacon cooked by Jamie & me helped by Mel.
Tuesday was mine and Georgina’s home day. I went to the bank with Mel and tidied my room. For tea we had jacket potatoes 🥔 with 🧀 cheese and beans and salad.
On Wednesday we Skype’d my friends at Edenbridge and caught up with all the news. Then we had a bit of a soap-fest and watched ‘Coronation Street’ ‘Emmerdale’ and East-Enders’. Jamie fell asleep 😴.
On Thursday dad rang me and we had a good catch-up. After that Louise, Shirley and I did some craft with Mel. On Friday Jamie, Rika and I went for a walk. In the afternoon Angie came over with Cherie to pick up George and Louise for their walk. I’d done my walk in the morning so I watched ‘Finding Nemo’ with Velma. For tea we had 🍗 chicken wraps with salad 🥗. On Saturday mum and dad arrived to pick me up for the weekend. Dad was busy clearing the bedroom as Sally will arrive on Tuesday to start decorating. Mum and I went to Sainsbury's to do the weekly shop, and go to the bottle bank.
Monday will be a bit manic as Steve the plasterer will skim the walls and ceiling in the en-suite so that the girls can crack on and decorate it!

On Monday we all watched ‘The Gremlins’ on tv. It was very funny. 😄 For tea we had chicken 🍗 goujons, potato wedges and peas.
Tuesday was my and Georgina’s home day. I brought my washing down and tidied my room. Then I went to the bank with Sara. Mel bought our lunch from Nancy’s sandwich shop and I had a bacon 🥓 sandwich which was very nice 👍.
On Wednesday we did some craft with Rika, then watched ‘Mrs Brown’s Boys’ which was very funny.
On Thursday morning dad rang me and we caught up on our week. We then watched ’Only Fools and Horses’ 🐴 - always one of my favourites!
I always look forward to Friday as my friend Angie comes over to work with Louise. Angie took Louise, Jamie, Georgina and me out for a health walk. For our supper we all had curry except for Louise who had Chinese. Edem and Sara went and got the take-aways. I had lamb Rogan Josh which was yummy 😋.
On Saturday mum and dad came over and we drove to Sevenoaks to buy the staff Christmas 🎁 presents. Mum and I popped into Seasalt and I bought two new tops for Christmas.
